Ingredient Declaration:


Texturised Vegetable Protein, a food product of non-animal origin.
It is manufactured purely from Soya beans (allergen) by
texturising defatted Soya flour by extrusion cooking. The
production process ensures a product with high nutritional value,
excellent structural properties and quick water absorption. It is a nutritious, high quality food product,
which is high in protein and has virtually no fat. It does not contain any preservatives. This product is
Kosher and Halaal.


Application:


Texturised Vegetable Protein has a multitude of applications such as in stews, soups, beef patties, pie
fillings, pizza toppings, frozen foods and various meat analogues. Texturised vegetable protein will

normally take up to three times it weight of water when hydrated so that ready to use, its cost is a third
that of the dry product. It can be hydrated prior to use or can be hydrated during processing, or
cooking, provided that the appropriate amount of water is available in the mix.
